In my early twenties, I found my passion for health and fitness after dealing with lower back pain (yay, scoliosis) and struggling to catch my breath when going up and down the stairs for quite some time. I wanted to lead by example and be the healthiest version of myself for myself and my kids. After a few years, I decided it was time to expand my knowledge and help others reach their goals and live healthier, more mobile lives. In 2017 I started working as a personal trainer and a gymnastics coach. I absolutely loved both roles and seeing the impact movement had on people's lives. Currently, I am in school pursuing my Nursing degree, where I hope to combine my knowledge and passion for health and fitness with nursing care
I am a giver. I love helping those around me and being a source of "good" in the world. This is another reason fitness is so important, because it can improve someone's quality of life substantially, and if I have the knowledge and skills to teach someone, why wouldn't I? Outside of my family, I enjoy, first and foremost, weightlifting, CrossFit, hiking, and of course, reading and learning new things.
